Dr. Emaline Brown is a first-year resident at Bastyr University Clinic.
Her clinical interests include medical and aesthetic dermatology, functional endocrinology, community health care, integrative mental health, chronic pain and disease management, and preventive care and wellness.
Dr. Brown has a passion for tailoring gentle, result-based treatment plans using traditional and evidence-based therapeutics, such as nutrition, botanical medicine, and intravenous therapy. She strongly believes in an integrative, multi-disciplinary care team approach that considers the biopsychosocial model in an effort to treat the whole patient. Her goal is to guide and empower all patients to find their optimal wellness.
During her time at National University of Natural Medicine, Dr. Brown completed rotations in primary care, neurology, intravenous therapy, dermatology/minor surgery, men's health, and gastroenterology. In addition, she completed a six-month naturopathic mental health rotation at Pacific Psychology & Comprehensive Health Clinic and a six-month preceptorship in community healthcare in downtown Portland focusing on transgender medicine, chronic disease, and medication management.

Dr. Brown earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from Florida State University in which she graduated magna cum laude. She is a member of the Naturopathic Academy of Environmental Medicine.
