Dr. Stoppa is a first-year resident at Bastyr Center for Natural Health.
"I’ve always wanted to help people achieve their health goals and initially (and for a good portion of my schooling) I thought that would be through exercise and physical medicine. However, I was undecided on the path I wanted to take to further my knowledge and after experiencing different facets of the health care system, I eventually took a leap of faith into the Naturopathic Medical School at Bastyr. I was hooked after the first quarter of school. I loved the scholastic rigor and naturopathic philosophy. I knew this was the way to practice and think about medicine."
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Stoppa is likely outside in the mountains or on the beach.
Dr. Stoppa's clinical interests include physical medicine and pain management, rheumatology, autoimmune, cardiovascular disease, and neurology.
The human body has astounding capabilities, often more than we give it credit for. Given the optimal conditions, the body has the potential to do miraculous things.
