Dr. Sullivan is a first-year resident at Bastyr Center for Natural Health.
"I wanted to become a medical provider to support others as they pursue their goals through the lens of health. Sometimes this means advising someone on how to optimize their physiology. Other times it involves journeying with them through chronic disease."
Dr. Sullivan's clinical interests include Inflammatory Bowel Disease, IBS, Chronic Fatigue, Autoimmune Disease, and Homeopathy.
I am deeply passionate about helping my patients find relief from the often-debilitating symptoms of chronic conditions. I believe in using a holistic approach to healing, incorporating both traditional and integrative therapies to address not only the physical symptoms of these conditions but also the emotional and psychological factors that can contribute to them.
At the heart of my healing philosophy is the belief that the body has an innate ability to heal itself, given the right conditions. My goal as a physician is to create an environment in which the body can do that, by providing the necessary support and guidance. To that end, I use a variety of integrative therapies, including nutrition and dietary modifications, herbal and nutritional supplements, stress management techniques, pharmacology, and homeopathy to help my patients find relief from their symptoms and improve their overall health and well-being.
I also strongly emphasize patient education and empowering my patients to take an active role in their healing journey. By helping them to understand the root causes of their conditions and how they can support their own healing, I aim to empower and equip my patients with the tools necessary to take control of their health.
