Bastyr Center for Natural Health is a teaching clinic with a Team Care approach. Your health concerns are evaluated comprehensively by a licensed health professional and approximately two advanced-student clinicians.
Many of our health care professionals also teach at Bastyr University. All of our clinical supervisors are experienced in patient care, and many have private practices as well. Clinical supervisors are intimately involved with each patient’s case.
Dr. Altman's clinical interests include type 2 diabetes, digestive wellness, physical medicine, acupuncture and East Asian medicine.
Bastyr University, Naturopathic Medicine ('18)
Dr. Connor's areas of interest include physical medicine, pain management, gastroenterology, endocrinology and visceral manipulation.
Dr. Cullen has several years of experience in evaluating and managing female health conditions including menstrual disorders, vaginitis, cervical abnormalities, infertility and contraception management including IUD placement.
Dr. Ding has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbs combined with Western Medicine since 1976, in addition to working as a registered nurse in neurosurgery and organ transplantation for eight years.
Dr. Dompé specializes in Mind-Body medicine. He believes in supporting the inherent healing ability of each individual, and takes every opportunity to empower patients through education.
Dr. Fresonke's clinical interests include menopause and natural hormone replacement, neurotransmitter testing and balancing, digestive issues, and endocrine disorders.
Dr Hobart-Beaumari practices primary care for all ages. Special interests include family medicine, LGBTQ+ , preventative medicine, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and acute care.
Ms. Hughes's clinical interests include chemical dependency, women's health, geriatrics and the treatment of chronic disease, end of life care, cancer care, and stroke rehabilitation.
Dr. Lichtenstein's clinical interests include biofeedback, craniosacral therapy, ortho-bionomy, continuum movement therapy, authentic movement and five rhythms dance.
Chief Resident, Naturopathic Physician
Dr. Lumiere's academic and clinical interests include electroacupuncture, Chinese dietary therapy, cancer, immunity, menopause and stroke rehabilitation.
Dr Mercer’s clinical interests include pediatrics, women’s health, family medicine, mental health, and chronic disease. Dr Mercer is certified in classical homeopathy, a deep acting treatment that promotes healing on the mental, emotional and physical plane simultaneously. This amplifies the benefits of other naturopathic treatments she employs.
Dr. Minoff is an adjunct faculty member who supervises acupuncture students at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She also works in private practice in Seattle.

Dr. Pellegrini supervises students clinicians in the Department of Naturopathic Medicine, including the Diabetes and Cardiovascular Wellness clinic at Bastyr Center. Dr Pellegrini is a primary care physician for both acute and chronic health conditions and enjoys seeing a diverse patient population.
Dr. Peterson is a clinical faculty member at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, where he supervises students in Integrative Cancer Care.

Allen Sayigh, manager of the Chinese and Ayurvedic Herbal Medicine Dispensary, is responsible for formulating herbal remedies for patients and overseeing the dispensary's operations.
Dr. Simon believes in finding the best approach to support his patient’s health goals and this begins with listening whole-heartedly to their concerns and motivations.
Dr. Yu is an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She sees patients on the clinical theatre rotation and regularly supervises students as a substitute on both Acupuncture as well as Chinese Herbal Medicine shifts. Dr.
Dr. Zimmerman is an adjunct faculty member at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, where she supervises student physicians in the Naturopathic Medicine Department. Dr. Zimmerman also teaches courses in physical examination, counseling, and botanical medicine.
