Many of our health care professionals also teach at Bastyr University. All of our clinical supervisors are experienced in patient care, and many have private practices as well. Clinical supervisors are intimately involved with each patient’s case.

Dr. Farmer is a clinical supervisor for counseling at Bastyr Center for Natural Health and is the director of clinical training for the Master of Science in Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology program.
Dr. Fleetwood, who supervises the community care site at Mary's Place, has clinical interests in autoimmune issues, pediatrics, family care and health/wellness/prevention.
Dr. Flood’s areas of expertise include integrative primary care medicine, physical medicine, pain management, acupuncture and East Asian herbal therapeutics. Her clinical interests are preventive medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, chronic disease management, diabetes, cardiovascular medicine, autoimmune disease, gastroenterology, endocrinology and mental health.
Dr. Fresonke's clinical interests include menopause and natural hormone replacement, neurotransmitter testing and balancing, digestive issues, and endocrine disorders.
Dr. Guiltinan, who has a special interest in women’s health, believes that "some of the most powerful healing agents include air, light, water, food, touch, love and laughter."
Susie Hayes' clinical interests include women’s health; pregnancy; fertility; digestive health and nutrition; pain and physical trauma; psychiatry; neurology; cardiology; immune support; ear, nose and throat; and chronic illness with acupuncture and lifestyle coaching.
Dr. Hibbs takes a special interest in family medicine, toxicology, environmental medicine and clinical depuration (elimination of toxic substances), neurodegenerative disorders, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune disease, viral hepatitis C and B, men’s health, and healing with whole foods and other natural modalities as much as possible.
Ms. Hughes's clinical interests include chemical dependency, women's health, geriatrics and the treatment of chronic disease, end of life care, cancer care, and stroke rehabilitation.
Dr. Johnson's clinical interests include women’s health, naturopathic gynecology, preconception care and counseling, hormone balance and thyroid health.
