Bastyr Center is a teaching clinic with a Team Care approach. Your health concerns are evaluated comprehensively by a licensed health professional and approximately two advanced-student clinicians.
Many of our health care professionals also teach at Bastyr University. All of our clinical supervisors are experienced in patient care, and many have private practices as well. Clinical supervisors are intimately involved with each patient’s case.
Dr. Altman's clinical interests include type 2 diabetes, digestive wellness, physical medicine, acupuncture and East Asian medicine.
Dr. Bender's clinical interests include integrative and holistic family medicine and mental health, and applying comprehensive approaches including dietary/lifestyle modifications, botanical medicine and homeopathy to treat a variety of health concerns.
Dr. Bower is adjunct faculty at Bastyr University, where she teaches botanical medicine and gynecology classes and supervises student physicians at Bastyr Center for Natural Health
Dr. Brammer's special areas of interest are women’s medicine and the treatment of chronic disease with a focus on lifestyle change, nutrition and botanical medicine.
Dr. Brignall supervises the Integrative Cancer Care specialty shift at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. His special interests include cancer and pediatric neurodevelopmental disorders.
Dr. Carvlin is a first year resident at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, where she supervises and teaches student clinicians in the Department of Naturopathic Medicine. She also sees patients in private practice.
Dr. Congdon provides family medicine in private practice at Bastyr Center, and has a special interest in digestive health and treating inflammatory and functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.
Dr. Connor's areas of interest include physical medicine, pain management, gastroenterology, endocrinology and visceral manipulation.
Dr. Cullen has several years of experience in evaluating and managing female health conditions including menstrual disorders, vaginitis, cervical abnormalities, infertility and contraception management including IUD placement.
Dr. Day is a first-year resident at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, where he supervises student clinicians in the Department of Naturopathic Medicine. He also sees patients one-on-one in private practice.
