Given the right environment, body’s natural intelligence will guide the healing process. As an ayurvedic practitioner, Dr. Dhru believes his role is to educate and empower people regarding their basic constitution and current state of imbalance, how it developed and what can be done to restore the balance. Then it is up to patients to restore the right environment so that the body’s natural intelligence can continue the process of healing.
Dr. Dhru previously practiced as an ear-nose-throat surgeon in private practice and at Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound. He is a board member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and a faculty member at the Harmony Hill retreat center for cancer survivors.
