Susan Kaetz, MAc, MPH, LAc
Susan Kaetz has been in the public health field for thirty years. Prior to her practice in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, Ms. Kaetz was a program director for the AIDS Education and Training Center at the University of Washington and a consultant for the Seattle-King County Department of Public Health. She was director of community clinics through the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM) and a research acupuncturist at the Center for Health Studies at Group Health Cooperative. She is an adjunct medical staff member at the University of Washington Department of Medicine and adjunct clinical faculty at Bastyr University. In her practice at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, Ms. Kaetz takes a special interest in treating chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and women’s health. She has written several articles on sexually transmitted diseases in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of the American Medical Association. Ms. Kaetz holds a Master’s in Acupuncture from the NIAOM, a Master’s in Public Health from Yale University, and a BA in psychology from Boston University. She is a member of AAW and NCCAOM.
