Jane Guiltinan, ND Jane Guiltinan, ND, is a clinical professor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health and was formerly dean of clinical affairs and clinical medical director. Dr. Guiltinan has been in private practice since 1986 and has been a faculty member of Bastyr University since 1984. She has a special interest in women’s health and has contributed to several conferences, publications, and research regarding women’s health and other issues, including the following: a trial on alternative therapies for menopause with Group Health; consultant to the University of Washington School of Medicine on the introduction of CAM curriculum; expert member of the Washington State Department of Health Bio-terrorism Preparedness Advisory Committee; past peer reviewer for the American Journal of Public Health, Alternative Medicine Review, and Journal of Naturopathic Medicine; and author of “Naturopathic Management of Fibrocystic Breast Disease” for the Journal of Natural Medicine. She has written articles for International Journal of Naturopathic Medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine, and others. Dr. Guiltinan is a trustee at Harborview Medical Center, the first naturopathic physician in the country to be elected to a hospital board. She is also president of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians from whom she received the Physician of the Year award in 1995. She is a board member of the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges, and a member of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Guiltinan received her ND from Bastyr University and a BS in Allied Medicine from Ohio State University.
