Susie Hayes, MS, LAc
Susie Hayes is a clinical supervisor and an acupuncture preceptor at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. She also has her own private practice in Kirkland.
Hayes' clinical interests include women’s health, pregnancy, fertility, digestive health and nutrition, pain and physical trauma, psychiatry, neurology (stroke, MS, Parkinson’s and Epilepsy) cancer support and chronic illness, all with acupuncture and lifestyle coaching.
Susie Hayes considers the whole person, including their lifestyle choices, when partnering with patients to address their health concerns with acupuncture. She educates the patient on the energetic influence of their choices, encouraging them to make smart choices that contribute to their happiness, success and energetic potential. When patients are fully involved with their journey to health, their acupuncture treatment results are significantly more rapid and lasting. Her focus as a provider is on patient communication, achieving maximum health results with acupuncture, and disease prevention through successful acupuncture and patient education.
Hayes has 15 years' experience in full-time practice. She has also taught courses through Bastyr University's Department of Certificate, Community and Continuing Education.
Education & Affiliations
Hayes earned her Master of Science in Acupuncture from Bastyr University in 1998 and her BA in Arts and Sciences at University of Miami, Florida in 1986.
