Joseph Garrett, ND
Current Roles
Dr. Joseph Garrett is a clinical resident at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, where he supervises student physicians in the Department of Naturopathic Medicine. He also sees patients in private practice in Practitioner Care at Bastyr Center.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Garrett takes a special interest in men’s health, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. He also focuses on gastrointestinal health, believing it is essential for overall health.
Healing Philosophy
Dr. Garrett believes in an integrative approach to healing, drawing on both conventional medicine and traditional naturopathic therapies. He believes in establishing the determinants to health in every patient, with additional support from botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, homeopathy and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Garrett believes in providing his patients with multiple treatment options to choose from, empowering them to take part in their own healing.
Past Experience
Dr. Garret has completed more than 200 hours of continuing education biotherapeutic drainage, hydrotherapy and nutrition.
