Dr. Staruch's clinical interests include women’s health, metabolic syndrome, fibromyalgia, allergies and immune disorders.

Healing Philosophy

Dr. Staruch holds an interest in physiology and biochemistry. She enjoys trying to understand the underlying mechanism of a disease condition to determine what the body is trying to do, and then determine how to remove the obstacles to cure and return the body to balance and vitality. In this way she combines evidenced-based science with naturopathic principles. The modalities she uses most frequently are lifestyle education, nutrition and herbs.

Past Experience

Dr. Staruch worked in medical research for 15 years before becoming a naturopathic physician (ND) in 1997. Since then she has maintained a private practice, lectured for supplement companies on women’s health and taught online courses on herbs, physiology and aromatherapy.
