Kimberly Sandstrom, ND, LMP Dr. Sandstrom is a second-year naturopathic resident at Bastyr Center for Natural Health. Prior to her residency at Bastyr, she was a teaching assistant for botanical medicine and environmental medicine at Bastyr University. She worked for 4 years in the Bastyr herb garden, growing vegetables and medicinal herbs, and helping prepare botanical medicines. She also was a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras working on sustainable agriculture and nutrition. Dr. Sandstrom’s clinical interests are women’s health, botanical medicine, yoga, massage, and family medicine. Her personal healing philosophy is that "healing comes from connecting with your inner teacher and nature." Dr. Sandstrom received her BS in Microbiology and a BA in International Studies from Oregon State University in 1998. She received her ND from Bastyr University in 2008.
