Western medicine has now recognized that chronic pain management requires a more integrated approach than simply a pharmaceutical solution. Modern understanding of the pathophysiology of  chronic pain is similar to that of ayurvedic and Chinese medicine – namely that chronic pain is an imbalance involving body, mind and consciousness. In this presentation we will explore how a holistic, ayurvedic approach, along with acupuncture, can be utilized to effectively help people manage chronic pain, a condition that has reached epidemic proportions.

Dhaval Dhru, MD, and Skye Sturgeon, DAOM, MSOM, will discuss therapeutic approaches rooted in ayurvedic medicine and acupuncture that can be effectively utilized to help people with chronic pain.

This talk is free and open to the public and will include a Q&A session, herbal tea and special offers.
